Looking forward to another weekend....

I am happy tomorrow is already Friday!  We got a lot of stuff to do on the weekend - from cleaning the whole house, sorting out garbage, getting rid of stuff that has been sitting in the attic forever and more.  I wish i got more time in my hand, it seems nothing is enough, isn't it?  Hubby got so many calls from friends asking for help on their computer.  I know he feels so frustrated sometimes that he can't just help everyone, he ain't got time.  I always tell him that he should learn how to say NO sometimes.  In fact, right now, he is out somewhere fixing my brother-in-law's computer at this time.  Poor hubby! I wish i know how to fix even minor things about computers so i could help but i am just as dependent on him as anyone else in the family, lol!

Unable to approve posts...

I don't know what I am doing wrong why a lot of my posts at SS couldn't be approved.  I checked each of the advertisers' requirements and made sure I included them all but to no avail.  I resubmitted my posts over and over and over again but got same result - unable to approve posts.  Last night, i got another task reserved but i chose not to do it anymore 'cuz i don't want to waste my time composing posts and don't get paid for it.  So far, PPP is my favorite!

Are You In A Safe Neighborhood?

I hear a lot of disturbing news on TV these days.  People get shocked when they learn about sex offenders living around the neighborhood.  It is scary, you know.  But being aware of your surroundings including the people around you would greatly help for our own family’s safety.  I couldn’t believe that even in our area which I thought was a safe and peaceful place is not spared from it.  I found out through Registered Sexual Predators site that a few live close by.  To support the Megan’s Law which requires that information about the whereabouts of sexual predators should be made public, a complete Sexual Predator List by state, country or city is made available to us at the Registered Sexual Predators’ site.
Each of the predators in the list has a detailed description that shows name, picture, nature of the crime and a lot more.  .  You can also request to be sent email alerts once a predator moves to your area.  Simply enter your zip code and get yourself ready for the shock of your life.  But hey, it's better safe than sorry, isn’t it?  Let us all be vigilant, share this site among your family and friends.

Part of hormonal changes?

I always feel so sleepy and tired these days and i wonder if this is part of hormonal changes. Is it a sign of old age?  I used to go to bed at 3AM almost daily but now, as early as 10PM, I doze off so easily even while blogging.  I am not exaggerating here.  The part i cannot understand is even if i sleep early, i still get up same time just like when i sleep so late.  In fact, i was doing a task just before doing this post and hubby was laughing at me because he thought i was like banging my head and my eyes would close for a moment, LOL! He's scared i might fall off my chair and i wouldn't be surprised if i would.  Been there, done that, hehe!

Locating People Has Never Been So Easy

During my mother-in-law’s surprise 80th birthday party that we gave her, we were able to gather together almost a hundred families, friends and relatives that we haven’t seen for years.  I gave credit to my sister-in-law who did a tremendous job in tracking them and getting hold of them.  How did she do it in so short a time?  She used the most powerful tool in People Search where you can instantly locate people by name and you get their address, phone number and other public records, in any state within the country.  With World Wide People Locator, looking for contacts is just a click of the mouse!

Back and kicking....

So how's everyone doing after the long weekend?  Hubby and I left early last Saturday for PA and came back Monday afternoon.  We could have left Friday night but we did not want to leave our dog Pierre alone by himself for 3 nights.  Thanks to our wonderful friend Vana who agreed to look after him while we were away and she really did a great job.  We owe her much for doing us this BIG favor.  The surprise party we prepared for MIL worked out great too.  There was close to a hundred people that came. and everyone seemed so nice, thank God!  Now, I am back to my usual blogging and happy to be back!

Shop at Black Friday Online And Save Money!

The best way to reduce stress is to shop early for the holidays.  That way, you don’t have to panic when you couldn’t find the present you wanted to buy for a loved one.  Life is getting harder and harder each day but it doesn’t mean we have to stop giving presents to our loved ones on Christmas.  Planning you shopping early will save you time and money.  The best time to shop for Christmas is on Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving.  You can now start listing down the people you want to buy the presents for and what present you want to give them so your mind will be more focused.

I have never gone shopping on Black Friday because I hate getting up early and falling in long lines.  That’s what I heard from friends who go shopping on Black Friday.  But the good thing is: you can still shop on Black Friday and enjoy huge discounts by just staying in your own homes.  How?  Well,  iBlackFriday makes is possible for you to buy Black Friday items online.  The site also allows you to make your own shopping list in advance and gat the chance to know what thanksgiving ads are available before anyone else.  I have actually started building my own list as I have already seen some of the stuff I want to buy from the Walmart ads while waiting for more Amazon deals.

You can also request iBlackFriday to send you email alerts whenever new thanksgiving ads are available.  Through iBlackFriday, you save time, money and avoid a lot of stress usually caused by shopping for the holidays.   So, if you want to save more and still buy the presents you want for your loved ones, don’t forget to plan your shopping early through iBlackFriday and enjoy their thanksgiving ads without leaving your homes.

How to handle telemarketeers and junkmails

I don't usually answer my phone when i don't recognize the number calling.  I figure if it is really important, then the caller should have left a message so i could call back.  When I was new to this country, i pick the phone every time it rings and what did i get?  I get all these offers for credit cards to Orlando vacations and a lot more.  Another thing i notice is the bunch of junkmails i get daily.  I just toss them to the garbage bin without even opening the mails.  Today, i got some tips on how to handle telemarketeers and junkmails from one of the yahoo groups I am in.  I thought these will help that's why i want to share it with you.  Here it goes:

Tips for Telemarketers & Junk Mail

Tips for Handling Telemarketers

Three Little Words That Work!!

(1)The three little words are: 'Hold On, Please...'

Saying this, while putting down your phone and walking off (instead of hanging-up immediately) would make each telemarketing call so much more time-consuming that boiler room sales would grind to a halt.

Then when you eventually hear the phone company's 'beep-beep-beep' tone, you know it's time to go back and hang up your handset, which has efficiently completed its task.

These three little words will help eliminate telephone soliciting.

(2) Do you ever get those annoying phone calls with no one on the other end?
This is a telemarketing technique where a machine makes phone calls and records the time of day when a person answers the phone.

This technique is used to determine the best time of day for a 'real'sales person to call back and get someone at home.

What you can do after answering, if you notice there is no one there, is to immediately start hitting your # button on the phone, 6 or 7 times, as quickly as possible. This confuses the machine that dialed the call and it kicks your number out of their system. Gosh, what a shame not to have your name in their system any longer!!!

(3) Junk Mail Help:
When you get 'ads' enclosed with your phone or utility bill, return these 'ads' with your payment. Let the sending companies throw their own junk mail away..

When you get those 'pre-approved' letters in the mail for everything from credit cards to 2nd mortgages and similar type junk, do not throw away the return envelope..

Most of these come with postage-paid return envelopes, right? It costs them more than the regular 50 cents postage 'IF' and when they receive them back.

It costs them nothing if you throw them away! The postage was around 50 cents before the last increase and it is according to the weight. In that case, why not get rid of some of your other junk mail and put it in these cool little, postage-paid return envelopes.

One of Andy Rooney's (60 minutes) ideas.
Send an ad for your local chimney cleaner to American Express. Send a pizza coupon to Citibank. If you didn't get anything else that day, then just send them their blank application back!
If you want to remain anonymous, just make sure your name isn't on anything you send them.

You can even send the envelope back empty if you want to just to keep them guessing! It still costs them 50 cents.

The banks and credit card companies are currently getting a lot of their own junk back in the mail, but folks, we need to OVERWHELM them. Let's let them know what it's like to get lots of junk mail, and best of all, they're paying for it...Twice!

Let's help keep our postal service busy since they are saying that e-mail is cutting into their business profits, and that's why they need to increase postage costs again. You get the idea ! __._,_.___

Get The Fastest Car Loan Through AutosFin!

Getting a car is a basic necessity for some people like me and my husband.  How can we get to work without a car?  We live in a place where public transportation is not accessible so we have no choice but to drive our own car to work.  My husband and I work in the same company so I ride with him to work everyday.  Our car is not in good shape and I worry when it breaks because it is not only him who cannot go to work but both of us.  We badly need a replacement but we cannot afford a new car without getting a Car Loan.  One of my friends at work highly recommended AutosFin where most of her family and friends got their Auto Loans.  She said she could vouch for its credibility and fast service!  Imagine getting a loan in less than 10 minutes?  That is just incredible, isn’t?

AutosFin helps people who need a car – whether new or used – and no matter what the credit history is.  This is great news to us because hubby has a bad credit while I don’t have any credit history since I am new to this country.  So if you are looking for the most convenient and fastest way to get Auto Loans,  AutosFin is the best place for you!  Try its free online loan application now and get the car that you need!

You Had Me At Hello!

The line, “you had me at hello” is a very memorable line for me and my husband.  We actually started from that line 4 years ago when we first met.  I can honestly say that simple word “hello” brought us to what we are now.  You know sometimes, the choice of lines makes a lot of difference.  Whether you admit it or not, both men and women enjoy flirting.  That is the fun part of any relationship.  If you want to attract attention from the opposite sex and achieve a Victory Hair, you got to learn the art of flirting.  You can test your flirting abilities in an exciting game - the Ultimate Flirting Championship by Extreme Style by VO5.  I had a lot of fun when I tried that game.  I tried to be as simple as I could and used most of the classic lines where I think I am good at.  I guess I impressed the judge and picked me the winner.  I’m sure you would enjoy the game as much as I did!  In the game, 3 people will play; one will ask questions and the two will compete for the best answers to those question.  This is your chance to show off how good you are at flirting.  If you want to try this game, just go to www.VO5VictoryHair.com and have fun!

Sore throat...

I woke up with a sore throat today.  I hate to admit it but i guess i'm catching a cold and cough.  I don't like to get sick (who does?) because MIL is still here and I don't want to spread the virus.  I wish i could just stay at home tomorrow instead of work.  Well, i could but i don't get paid either.  I cannot afford to miss even a day not getting paid because i need money, LOL! I got 4 kids depending on my financial support.  I have to work for as long as I can.  Happy Sunday everyone!

Black Friday Online: Smart Way To Shop For The Holidays

I can’t believe summer is almost over.  See how time flies so fast?  The holiday season is just around the corner.  It’s gonna be shopping time once again.  It’s great to plan your shopping early to avoid spending too much for the holidays.   One great thing to do is take advantage of the shopping discounts at blackfridayonline.  I am not referring to the usual shopping in stores on the day after Thanksgiving where people rush to the stores as early as possible to shop and catch the hot deals.  You can still enjoy all these deals without competing with other people by shopping at blackfridayonline.  You can even get email alerts once ads are available in a particular online store.  Isn’t that the smartest thing to do?

I love shopping online, this is the best thing for me that internet has offered.  I will be shopping at my favorite online stores and make sure I don't miss the hot Amazon specials and Overstock ads.  If you visit blackfridayonline, I’m sure you will find your favorite stores there too.  Plan your shopping for the holidays and save more money.  Invite your family and friends and enjoy your holiday shopping spree at blackfridayonline.

Any movie you can recommend?

One of the recent movies that I can recommend is Felon.  It talks about the politics inside the prison.  There are so many innocents who are suffering right now inside a jail while the real offenders are freely roaming around.  We all know this is happening but have we done something to stop this?  Nah! I guess you and I think that we can’t do anything about it.  We could careless, right?  I know it will be different if someone we know is the victim.  Anyway, watch the movie and tell me what you think.  BTW, any movie you can recommend?

I hurt myself....

I was cleaning up our storage closet yesterday at work when one of the shelves fell off on me.  I was holding one of the boxes so it won't fall on my feet, while trying to hold another box with my left leg.  The boxes are so heavy, I was screaming for help.  When i took shower this morning, i saw a big bruise on my left arm and two smaller rbuises on the right.  I kinda pity myself for it and told hubby, "do i really have to do this?  I never worked like this while i was in the Philippines before!"  But later, i realized I'm not in the Philippines anymore.  Life is hard but sure it is still a beautiful world.

Plan Ahead For A Better Future

Since I got here in the USA in 2004, husband and I have been talking about buying our own home.  But much as we wanted to, we thought it was impossible for us to own a house because of hubby’s bad credit.  His credit status has badly affected our life’s decisions.  We couldn’t easily get a loan to buy a car or our house because of it.  We badly need Debt help and regain financial freedom.

While surfing around the net one day about my credit score, I found bills.com which offers useful resources for Debt relief and help us manage our finances effectively.  I was interested to know my own score so I took the BillsIQ quiz.  As expected, I got a not so-good score of 72. I also got great tips and advise from bills.com on how I can improve my finances.  One of the best things I learned from this site is to learn to save and live within you budget.  We tend to spend more than what we earn and that will hurt your budget.   At first, I thought saving even a small amount every payday is impossible but we never know until we try.  I know I can make it by listing down my priorities in life and focus on achieving it.  Hopefully later, we can start saving more and make some investments for the future.

If you have trouble in managing your finances, bills.com  will be happy to be of help. It offers a lot of options for Debt relief and Debt consolidation is one.  You decide which one to take based on your capabilities.  It helps to be on top of your finances.  With bills.com,  I know we can make it and so do you.  To start it off, try the Bills IQ check-up test now and you’re on your way towards financial freedom.

Congrats to Patty!

I was surprised to know my daughter joined the University of Makati (UMAK) Idol and she won the singing contest.  I know she has a voice but never expected her to be that serious in her singing to join in contests like that.  To me, win or lose, that was a good experience for her to build confidence on herself and of course sportsmanship.  I called her on the day of the competition and she could hardly talk as she lost her voice.  My other daughter who acted as her manager and super alalay said she prayed so hard before the contest started for Patty to get  her voice back.  True enough, 5 minutes before it started she got her voice, hehe!  Anyway, congrats anak!

The Best Solution To Your Debt Problem

My husband has filed bankruptcy about three years ago.  We thought that was the best solution that time but had we known about other Debt Relief options available for us, we could have avoided the consequences that have affected us badly from filing bankruptcy.  Debt counseling is one option but it is definitely not the best either.  It takes a longer time to pay off your debt and you end up paying more.  Debt consolidation is getting a loan to pay off your debt.  This offers a temporary solution to your debt problem at you will end up still ion huge debt.  Bankruptcy as I mentioned earlier, does not only hurt you financially but socially and emotionally as well.  The negative effects last for like decade. Others use credit card minimum monthly payments to cope up with debt but I don't think it is a smart move.  I tell you, been there, done that!

You know what’s the best way to Debt Relief is  I believe it is Freedom Debt Relief’s Debt Reduction Program where you draw your own payment plan that would fit your individual situation.  It is designed to help you pay off your debt within 2-3 years at 40 to 60% lower than what you currently owe.  Isn’t that amazing?  Why take other options when you can have debt relief through the Debt Reduction program of Freedom Debt Relief.

Am I dreaming?

I am used to seeing zero to very few opps at PPP whenever I log in so when i saw like 10 opps there today, I was in total shock, lol!  Is this for real or am I just dreaming?  Hubby and I got home almost midnight from spending dinner with MIL so both of us are really tired.  I wasn't even planning to check my paid blogging sites but I'm glad I did otherwise I would have missed the opps.   Anyway, to my blogger friends, good luck and more opps to come!

Enjoy Disney Bingo With Your Kids

I love to play Bingo even when I was a kid. I remember one time mother sent me to buy something from the store and I saw old folks playing Bingo in the neighborbood.  At first I just watched, and then later I started to help one old lady on her cards because she got so many cards she could hardly catch up.  Then I just seem to forget I was set to an errand.  My mother even heard me reading the numbers aloud.  Well, as expected I got a spanking from dear mother, LOL!  It didn’t stop me from playing Bingo, though.  Mother thought she better just get a Bingo set for the family so I don’t need to go to the neighbor's house to play Bingo.  She was glad she did because she later found out why I got so addicted to the game when she also started playing Bingo with us kids.  Even at later years, I still play Bingo a lot that I would often hang out in the malls just to play Bingo

If you have kids, this is one of the Screenlife Games that I highly recommend – the Disney Bingo, which you can buy at Amazon or any drugstore. This is a smart way to spend quality time with your kids.  Get a Disney Bingo DVD game for your home for the whole family to enjoy and offer some fun and excitement when friends come around.

What’s going on with me today, I seem to have a hard time remembering things. Isn’t that scary? Hubby has been teasing me if it was just memory loss or what? See, I can’t even remember what the other thing he said about me, lol! I need to exercise my brain more especially do something that enhance memory. I am not that old yet but Oh My! I used to easily memorize telephone numbers but now, I can’t even memorize my own SSN!
